I’ve started and stopped writing this blog introduction a thousand times. I just can’t find the words to describe Marissa (and her sweet husband Eddie). She’s an amazing friend, photographer, wife, sister & daughter. She pours herself wholly and completely into her relationships. She loves in a way that’s deeper and fuller than most people I’ve witnessed in my life. She has the cutest laugh in the world. She has the most perfect skin too, and I hate her for that. And she and Eddie are 100% meant to be together. It sounds SO lame, but they totally complete each other. I loved witnessing their little glances & sweet gestures towards each other in this shoot. I had such a fun time hanging with my friend Harmony while both of us got to photograph these two. I was having a really tough time healing physically from some stuff I went through last fall, & was worried that none of my photos would look good/turn out (I shot it on all film & was literally a hot mess, but it was my last time seeing them and GOSH DARNET I was not missing it for the world!!). Thus when I got my film back I was SO floored and excited. I absolutely love these images!

Love you so much Marissa, and hate that you now live so far away. Hate to know that you’re roughing it over in Hawaii ;)

ohmy, these are SO beautiful, sharp , and punchy….absolutely love this session!!! And it totally reminds me of when Sean and I had our pictures taken there, so I naturally love them! ;)

oh katie. my heart is so happy to have met you. seriously, love you. thank you so much for your sweet words and for taking the time to do this for eddie and i. you had it really rough before this session and the fact that you pushed yourself to do this for us means more to me than you’ll ever know. thank you, from the bottom of our hearts for letting us be the totally dorky us that we are in front of you and harmony. we are in love with these! cannot wait to put a few of these up in our new place! :) *hugs*
