Ready for a HUGE blog post?? It’s long overdue, as this blog has been totally lagging. I’m so sorry for my lack of posts lately. I’ve been more concerned about delivering my clients’ galleries, albums and discs and the blog seems to be the first to fall to the wayside. Be prepared, there are tons of amazing weddings on deck!

Now onto Ashley and Ricky’s wedding. Best wedding of 2011? Quite possibly. When I first met Ashley, she blew me away with all her unique ideas, all which totally fit THEM. A lot of couples nowadays feel the pressure to have a wedding that has cool details, but often times it doesn’t necessarily fit who they are. Ashley is obsessed with popcorn, and then realized that she and Ricky both absolutely love street fairs (hence why we did their ENGAGEMENT at the Del Mar Fair!). Not only did they have killer details, they are madly in love and know how to have a good time. Their bridal party was INCREDIBLE. Ryan at one point whispered to me “I wish all weddings were this awesome.” And it is true, the awesome factor was at an all time high.

Ashley and Ricky, I adore you two. I’m lucky that you were my clients but you are also my friends.

Oh my goodness. These are amazing! I am completely in love with this entire wedding. It’s such a wonderful mix of glamorous and quirky. So perfect, and you captured it beautifully!
